How often do I need to come in to get good results?

On average, for most injuries or conditions, Occupational Therapy (OT) sessions are typically scheduled 1-2 times per week. The overall duration of therapy depends on the injury, but for many cases, a typical OT plan lasts 6-12 weeks. This can vary if progress is faster or slower than expected, and adjustments are made accordingly.

How can you help me get out of pain fast?

Our goal is to keep you away from the medicine cabinet and any opioids or pain relievers that can be habit forming and abused. We have a variety of methods for treating your acute, severe pain, including: occupational therapy and several modalities including infrared laser therapy, kinesio tape and manual therapy, Chiropractic adjustments, you can be fitted for a brace the same day (depending on your insurance plan), as well as acupuncture or massage therapy.

What can I expect during an OT session?

An OT session typically involves an evaluation of your condition and goals, followed by exercises, therapeutic activities, and training on adaptive techniques or devices. OT may focus on improving strength, coordination, cognitive skills, and helping you adapt to changes in mobility or function.
