To further her education, Klejdja just took the ABPTS board exam to be an Orthopedic Board Specialist in order to improve her clinical reasoning, provide a thorough assessment and custom tailored treatment for her patients. She believes in a well-rounded treatment approach which includes advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises and, most importantly, patient education.
Her approach emphasizes the importance of modifying - but not eliminating - physical activities based on your personal needs. She encourages her patients to push their limitations and progress towards returning to previous activities and sports. With her approach, Klejdja provides objective measurements, orthopedic tests and clinical examination in order to provide a personalized plan of care with achievable goals and a wide variety of exercise programs which are up to date with latest research on the field.
Fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and Albanian, she is an asset to Peak and our patients.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Applied Kinesiology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, before moving on to earn her Applied Science PTA degree from Essex County College, graduating with the highest honors.
She has always been interested in the medical field, and through her clinical rotations, Becca has experience working with a wide range of individuals in multiple settings, with a focus on the outpatient orthopedic setting - perfect preparation for joining the team at Peak Medical Centers.
When Becca is not at work helping patients, you can find her working out, cycling, playing tennis, spending time with her friends and family and soaking up the sun at her family beach house down the shore.
The majority of Ashley’s 17 years as a PTA has been in an outpatient orthopedic setting, treating various sports-related injuries as well as rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries. She loves to learn and has picked up many techniques from highly skilled therapists and doctors as well as continuing education classes she’s taken through the years. Ashley is always searching in her "bag of tricks" for the right intervention for each individual patient – and loves to see the results produced.
In her spare time, Ashley loves animals, being outdoors, camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, and gardening.
Since joining our team, David has become known for his strong manual therapy skills and charisma. David is well-versed in all modalities and is experienced working with patients who have difficulty with neurological and cardiovascular conditions. David is also certified in rock taping.
In addition to helping patients at Peak Medical Centers, David also helps keep the country and its citizen safe and secure in his role as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserve.
David is a lifelong Jets and Mets fan, which means he has yet to see his team win a World Series or Super Bowl!
