Shoulder Pain Treatment

Shoulder Pain Treatment

The shoulder joint is one of the most active in our entire body. With the greatest range of motion, shoulder joints are subject to the most potential to degenerate.

Because the shoulder joint is used so often, pain in the area is very common and affects millions of people every year.

Most often reported are the rotator cuff and the glenohumeral (ball and socket joint) of the shoulder – most often injured by a “separated shoulder”.

To diagnose your shoulder pain we complete a thorough examination of your shoulder(s), using MRI, x-rays, ultrasound, and in some cases, CT scans. Along with your history of symptoms and related information, we can isolate the cause of the pain or injury and develop a treatment plan. It’s imperative to locate the source of the issue to avoid surgery or further joint degeneration.

You will then begin your comprehensive treatment plan.

Choosing A Care Provider

Peak Medical Centers is a team of dedicated professionals with one goal in mind – to help get you back to normal. When you choose us, you are choosing highly trained and experienced personnel.

Primary care physicians can use diagnostic tools to see injuries – sometimes even soft tissue damage, but cannot always treat it effectively. Only a certified back shoulder specialist can take a comprehensive and complete approach to your recovery plan.
